Ian Lougher will be riding the Repli-Cast UK Racing 125GP Honda at Scarborough for the 60th Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Races this weekend.

Road race legend Ian Lougher will be running the Team Repli-Cast UK Racing 125GP Honda of Nigel Percy’s. The bike has been performing strongly in the last few rounds of the British 125GP of late with input from Percy and should put Lougher in a strong position for the race.

Ian himself is no stranger to the bike, he rode it in 2009 with a wildcard entry at Silverstone, his technical input was invaluable to the team at the time.

Gary Dawson, Repli-Cast UK Team manager will also be riding the V&M Yamaha R1 in a parade lap during the weekend.

Ian Lougher: “I’m really looking forward to riding the Repli-Cast 125 bike again, this time on the roads at Scarborough. Gary Dawson has been good enough to loan me the bike for the weekend and hopefully with input from both of us its possible that we can come away with a win! That would be nice to add to my tally of 126 wins or so. It should be a good weekend and I hope I can do the bike justice.”

Gary Dawson – Repli-Cast UK Tean Manager: “Its long been an ambition of mine to race the roads with our 125 bike and for Ian Lougher to approach me about riding the bike is an honour. I hope everything goes well for the team, the bike and Ian and we will see if the roads are the place to be rather than the BSB series”.
